Katherine M. Haigh, MSN, NP-C

Katie is a Nurse Practitioner who has been with Delaware Institute for Reproductive Medicine since July 2009. A graduate of the University of Delaware in 2001 from the College of Health and Nursing Sciences, Katie worked as a Registered Nurse in the fields of infertility and critical care for 8 years. She then completed her Master’s Degree from UD in Nursing in 2007, focusing on family practice. During graduate studies, she was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau, an honor’s fraternity, and currently serves on the Leadership Succession Committee. Married in 2008, she and her husband welcomed their first child, a son, in May 2009, followed by a daughter in June 2011. Katie has dedicated most of her career as a Family Nurse Practitioner focused specifically on the health and well-being of women and children. Presently, she is the IVF Clinical Coordinator for DIRM, and excited to work with the well-known Dr. Jeffrey Russell and his dedicated staff. Her goals are to work closely with all IVF and third party reproduction patients to ensure that they have a positive experience during their treatment and beyond.
