FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Will my insurance company cover infertility?
Most insurance plans offer diagnostic coverage, meaning testing can be performed to try to determine why you are having difficulty getting pregnant. But not all insurance plans offer treatment coverage, meaning that once a diagnosis is made and it's time to move into treatment, no further payments will be made by your insurance company.
What is the cost if I don’t have treatment coverage?
We understand that infertility treatment can become expensive. For patients who need ovulation induction, intrauterine insemination or IVF, we offer cycle package plans that cover everything (exclusive of medications) performed in the office during a treatment cycle.
What insurance companies cover IVF?
Insurance companies don’t determine IVF benefits, employers do. Please check with your employer's Human Resources Department to see what type of coverage you have. Alternatively, our Billing Department can assist you in determining and understanding your coverage.
What companies offer IVF coverage?
This list is not exhaustive, but some of the employers in this area that offer IVF benefits are AstraZeneca, Bank of America, Barclays Bank, Cigna, Citibank, Comcast, Dow Chemical, DuPont, JPMorgan Chase, State of Delaware, State of Maryland (mandated state), State of New Jersey (mandated state), Verizon, Wawa and WL Gore. This list constantly changes and not all benefits are the same. Some may have a lifetime benefit maximum as low as $10,000 and others may have no lifetime benefit maximum. Other plans limit the number of lifetime IUI (intrauterine insemination) and/or IVF (in vitro fertilization) attempts.
Do you offer guaranteed IVF cycles or refunds?
YES. We offer 1-cycle and 3-cycle packages. The Guaranteed IVF Program is available to couples who meet the our medical criteria after undergoing an IVF work-up.
Please contact our office for more details. Couples who fail to achieve a pregnancy after all available embryos from the fresh IVF cycle(s) are used and do not maintain a pregnancy through ten (10) weeks gestation will receive an 80% refund of qualified expenses as indicated in a written contract.
Do you offer packaged OI (ovulation induction), IUI (intrauterine insemination) and IVF (in vitro fertilization) cycle packages?
Yes, we have special package pricing for OI, IUI and IVF cycles. We also have 2-cycle and 3-cycle IVF packages that provide additional savings.
